When should I Take A Breastfeeding Class?
Anytime after 12 weeks in pregnancy would be a great time to begin preparing for your little one to arrive and take a class. You’ll never lose access to class so you can review class material as many times as you want before (or after) your little one arrives. If your little one arrived earlier than expected, you can still benefit immediately from knowledge gained through class.
What If I Have Questions After I Review Class Material?
Each of my classes comes with a LIVE Question and Answer session that I host each month. Also, you will get 1 month of unlimited email support after baby arrives.
How Do I Gain Access to Class Material?
Simply pay for class here and class material will be sent to your inbox for you to view on your own time, wherever, and with whomever you’ve chosen as your breastfeeding support system so everyone is on the same page to help you meet your breastfeeding and/or pumping goals. If you are local to Indiana and wish to attend an in-person class, please email sarahalang6@gmail.com for class schedule or to book your private breastfeeding class.
I Have Already Breastfed Successfully Before. Should I Still Take Class?
MilkSprout breastfeeding classes are for everyone, new or seasoned. Every pregnancy, birthing experiences, and breastfeeding journey is different. I have worked with so many non first time moms who have said they learned so much and felt much more equipped heading into delivery. Also, if it has been a few years since your last breastfeeding experience, a refresher is always a good idea.
I Was Not Able To Feed My Last Baby. Will I Be Able To Feed This Baby?
Every baby and breastfeeding journey is different. Equipping yourself with new tools and support can be just the tools you need to be successful this time! I am here to educate and support you to help you meet your goals.
Do I Really Need To Take A Breastfeeding Class? Won’t the Lactation Consultant And Nurses Help Me In The Hospital?
Equipping yourself with knowledge and tools before baby arrives is one of the biggest keys to success. In class we review and discuss how to know breastfeeding is going well, and also when its not, and how to overcome many of the very common hurdles moms experience in those first few weeks with baby. Knowing what is normal, and what is not normal, decreases anxiety in relation to feeding baby and allows you to make the best decisions for your family from an educated perspective.
